Entry on K1, no documents were returned except passport, not even I-94.

Timeline

So immigration officer took the sealed packet and everything that goes with it.

No form I-94 was left with the passport. The only thing Immigration Officer did was to write down some number on a visa in format of: A123456789/10X1

Are we missing anything? We need I-94 to apply for SS# and we don't have it. Thank you.

02-08-2013 - express mailed I-129F to Dallas Lockbox
02-11-2013 - proof of delivery
02-14-2013 - USCIS Dallas payment cashed
02-14-2013 - email/text NOA1
02-19-2013 - NOA1 hardcopy
04-22-2013 - Tania got B1/B2 to visit me in States while waiting for approval.

05-06-2013 - JFK POE. B2 approved for 6 months stay.

05-28-2013 - text from USCIS status changed to "Post Decision Activity". I-129F approved and NOA2 mailed.

06-01-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy

06-27-2013 - Email with instructuions from Consulate received

09-11-2013 - Interview

10-04-2013 - POE JFK

11-20-2013 - got married.

12-06-2013 - express mailed I-485 to Chicago.

12-09-2013 - I-485 delivered to USCIS Express, proof of delivery

12-13-2013 - USCIS Chicago payment cashed.

12-13-2013 - email/text I-485 NOA1
12-17-2013 - I-485 NOA1 hardcopy

01-14-2014 - biometrics scheduled.

The CBP did away with the paper I-94 earlier this year, read this link for details and for more information:

BTW, there is no need to rush, SSA is affected by the Federal government shutdown.

Yes, thank you very much guys. Found it earlier, but your posts are really helpful. It is just my fiancee visited me previously this year on May 6 and I-94 was still a card.

And yes new ss cards/numbers are not being issued due to government shutdown. I would think this is an essential service, obviously government thinks it is not.
