I know it is a pain seeing these topics over and over again, but I think everyone here can agree with me that it is nice to hear these things directly from someone else and specifically regarding your own case. So with that in mind, hopefully someone can ease my nerves and let me know if I am ready for my K-1 interview in London in a couple of days.

Documents I am bringing:

*Appointment letter

*Certified copy of birth certificate (and photocopy)

*Police certificate (and photocopy)

*Passport

*Form I-134, completed and signed by my fiancee's father. (Just to double check, the US embassy does NOT require an I-134 from my fiancee as she cannot financially support me, correct? And form I-864 is for the AOS stage and not needed at interview, right?)

*Tax statements, statement from employer, bank statements etc for my fiancee's dad. He provided me with quite the folder of proof so I am nicely confident about this one :)

*4x US Passport sized photos. I got these done at a CVS in the USA... I am slightly worried about them as I measured the head and it is a tiny bit under 1 inch, when the guidelines say it must be 1 inch... is there a chance they will reject it or are they not overly fussy as long as the face is clear?

*Printed email receipt of MRV payment

Documents I am bringing just to be safe:

*Photos of us together

*Statement of intention to marry from my fiancee (I don't think I need this, but then I read another topic from someone that said they got their NOA2 in July (as I did) and they were told to bring one. Would I also need one for me if that is the case, or is me being at the interview good enough for a statement of intent to marry?

Also, I would like to confirm that I do NOT need to bring the signed medical papers I was handed after the medical exam? Those are just for the AOS stage right?

I can't say for sure your list is right, but for medical papers why not take them anyway? It's just some paperwork and you'll have it for just in case.

Steven is using a binder/page protectors for the various info. We'll be keeping that binder together when he's here to put together AOS stuff and that way we know its all in one place.

The medical stuff you have is a copy, they already have the original.

2 photos is enough

You do not need I-864 at this stage.

Most people end up with loads more than they need, I did. I had it divided in two sections, stuff I know they will ask for and stuff they might (they did not).

Looks good to me although as I self sponsored didn't have any supporting docs for that. Did not need any medical docs. Did not need an relationship stuff. Used what they asked for on the website.

See my thread earlier about size of head. Mine was too big - they didn't seem at all fazed by it :-) There's a photobooth there in the unlikely event someone is being really picky.

I have my interview tomorrow. I saw in some other thread that they did ask for evidence of ongoing relationship. What r we meant to show? We've literally been FaceTimeing everyday... I can't really print the logs for that

Have u got a link to that thread? It's country specific and not necessary for the London embassy

P.s good luck!

Yeah it was (today)! I got approved! I take it you did too? I did look around and wonder if anyone there was from VJ. Did you see Noel Fielding? He's a decently famous comedian who was there for a visa today :P

All that whining and doom and gloom posting you did for months and you aren't even going to tell us about the interview. What happened? What did they say? What did you say?
