Hi Everyone,

Anyone got their F2A application transferred to California Service Center from the Lockbox Office recently? Some people believe petitions were no longer forwarded to CSC since June 2013 but lo and behold, my September 7th application filed at the Chicago Lockbox was sent to CSC for some reasons. If you think we share a common experience, leave a comment here.

Priority Date: 9th Sep 2013

2013-09-07: I-130 Received
2013-09-11: NOA-1

2013-09-13: NOA1 (Hard copy)smile.png

2013-11-04 Case arrived at NVC

2013-11-24 AOS fee billed and paid

2014-01-02 AOS package sent to NVC

2014-01-03 IV fee paid.

2014-01-06 AOS package delivered (USPS.com)

2014-01-08 IV DS260 filled and submitted

2014-01-29 False DS260 Checklistno0pb.gif

2014-02-18 Case Complete through phone

2014-02-26 Case Complete Email

2015-05-01 Interview Date ( 11th June 2015) over the phone :D

2015-05-07 Interview Letter arrived via Email :dancing:

2015-05-09 Medical Test Completed

2015-05-12 Case shows READY at CEAC portal

2015-06-11 Visa Approved!!! :energy:

2015-07-01 Picked up the Passport with visa!!!

2015-07-04 POE( Smooth Entry, no question asked)

we are waiting for an AOS to have conditions removed and ours was just transferred from the Vermont Center to the CSC. from my research it seems that it is to speed up the process and most that have had a transfer get approved without any further information needed.

04-17-2011 Married

08-01-2011 AOS Packet sent (I-130,I-485,I-765) via USPS Priority mail

08-03-2011 Package delivered via USPS tracking

08-08-2011 Received Text/Email that all 3 apps were accepted/Checks cashed

09-06-2011 Biometrics Appt. in Philly

09-14-2011 RFE Sent for 485. I forgot to sign one section of the 485

09-21-2011 RFE Mailed back to USCIS

10-14-2011 Card production of EAD ordered

10-17-2011 Interview notice (I-797C) received for 11-16-2011

10-22-2011 EAD Card received

11-16-2011 APPROVED. Card Ordered, Passport Stamped.

I got my fb2a approved in 42 days. It was forwarded to CSC from the Chicago Lockbox. I am so happy. dancin5hr.gif

2013-10-15: NVC received the case.

2013-10-24: Received Case number, IIN, Beneficiary number, AOS invoiced & sent DS-261.

2013-11-01: Received IV invoiced and Paid it as well.

2013-11-02: AOS fee status changed to paid.

2013-11-07: IV Fee status changed to PAID & sent DS-260.

In that my case at VSC wil hold longer that I expected, I would like to know how they send dome caseat VSC ans other CSC ,is it depend in wich state you are or in for which country your petitioner is?

06/06/15 Ceac in AP status :cry: (they ask me for joint sponsor)

10/02/15 Ceac changed from AP to Issued (after almost 2 month)

10/07/15 Passport with Visa oh hand :dancing:

10/18/15 Ready to enter in US JFK airport

csc approves fast, we got ours approved in 36 days.

I hope you dont mind if you give some more details about your case. Are you LPR or USC? Did you petition for your husband or kids? I also filed in Chicago but my case was transferred to VSC. So im wondering how did your case got transferred to CSC. Im happy that you got approved so fast.

I am F2A category, Petitioner is LPR, he resides in CA so maybe that's the reason why we were transfer in CSC from Phoenix lockbox . I have a bff and her husband is USC, her case was filed in Chicago too, i am not sure where it was transfered but her case starts with MSC she hasn't received her NOA2 yet.
