My fiancé has lived in Brazil for years but is still Peruvian. He is flying to Rio today for his interview tomorrow and after he left I realized I forgot to remind him to bring his resident card (like our green card) but I know he has all of his Peru passports. What would happen if he forgot to bring his card? I'm kicking myself for missing that when we went over what up bring to the interview and I hope he remembered it. ><

I don't know how is in Brazil...but I am form Brazil, and I lived in Argentina for 7 years, including during my visa process. The Embassy in Buenos Aires did'nt ask me for any proof of residence in Argentina during the interview (actually they didn't ask me before neither), I just took my brazilian passport where the visa was stamped.

Good luck!!!
