hello everyone, My fiance just had his interview done at the us embassy in kabul Afghanistan, thank god its over and he has received yellow card which states you are in AP( Administrative Processing) as of now. the reason he is in AP is because he has to do his Medical examination which will be on Wednesday and the CO(interviewer) said once you brought your medical examination result, just drop it off in our office with your passport and then we will print the visa. this one just confused me a little bit because they dont tell you that we will print visa unless they are sure about everything and also she said just keep your phone on 24 hours so when we call you to come and pick up your visa. My fiance also said that in our file it was stamped that it is not fraud and its Legitimate case, the interview was smooth and she asked couple questions like

1. How did you meet your fiance?

2. How many times have you guys met?

3. what does she do for living?? and how come she makes X amount of money?

4. what do you intend to do once you are in USA?

5. And she looked at our pictures and thats all.

In sha allah hopefully we get the medical result and my fiance gets his visa soon. I am just so nervous and tired of this wait. goodluck to everyone else.

Congrats! Glad you explained the interview too, it's not a nightmare as some has made it out to be.

For what it's worth my sister's friend's husband was also in ap because he didn't complete his medical and they asked for some other document (forgot what it was). He went back about a week later with everything and dropped off his passport. He waited in kabul for 3 days then the following early morning he headed out back home to kandahar. In the middle of his trip he got a call to come pick up his passport with visa lol. Allah willing, everything will go very smoothly for you two.

Laila, is the package sent to the beneficiary/fiance in afghanistan or to the petitioner?

Sorry for late reply So yes email sent to either beneficiary or petitioner doesn't matter and in my case they emailed me without even calling my fiance in Kabul.
