Hi,

Im a Filipino green card holder, single when I got here in MD, USA. I went home in the Philippines and married a Filipina (we have a 5yo daughter) last March 2013, do I need to go to Philippine Embassy in DC and fill-up Report of Marriage? I have no idea about that until my sister (married a US Citizen here in US) told me about report of marriage.

The link says: Report of Marriage between Filipinos or a Filipino and a Foreign National

Am I applicable for that, since I married a filipina and im not a us citizen yet? 'Coz next year I will be applying for my citizenship and after that, file my petition for my family.

Thanks

Because your marriage took place in the Philippines.

Report of marriage to the Philippine Consulate/Embassy is only done if a Filipino got married OUTSIDE of the Philippines. The purpose of the filing is to record the marriage to NSO.

No, because you got married in the Philippines. Your sister had to report her marriage because she did not have a record of her marriage at NSO.
