And why should they? Obama cannot negate the results of an election by stamping his feet! The Republicans control the House because the Dems lost it after passing the ACA. These budget proposals MUST originate in the House. The House was elected to STOP the ACA and that is what they are going to do.

Now Obama can face the fact that he lost, that the people do not want his ACA and elected Representatives to TOSS it out..or I suggest he get serious about this "shut down" Closing off the Iwo Jima Memorial is not going to get it done.

It's past time to shut it down and keep it down until the spending problems get fixed. Passing taxes on healthcare to pay for healthcare is about the stupidest idea ever floated on the planet. The people spoke and changed the majority in Congress and the change in Congress came with orders to fix the mess. This isn't the first time that this needed to be done and the first time it was done we were able to make some real progress on the US budget, spending, and debt.

It is a sure thing that caving in to Democrats who LOST the last two congressional elections is not going to do them any good. I mean if you are going to lose the Presidency, at least keep doing what they have been in the House.

Gridlock is not a bad thing. Expecting the Federal government to do anything but fight over stuff is stupid. Giving them something important to fight over is retarded!
