Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could answer my question: I married and moved to the states with my husband received my green card, social security card, insurance card, and bank account. After being in the US for couple months we found out I was pregnant, go figure for as long as one has to wait to complete the process.

Fast forward my father became very ill and had no one to look after him. We decided I could return to look after him. Since we did not know how long this would take my husband got a job overseas during this time. My father’s health became worse to the point he passed away. I gave birth also during this time now we are talking almost a year later. My husband is returning from his job so we can complete the paperwork for our son to return to the US with us.

What is worrying me at the moment is that I have been out of the states for almost a year, by the time we finish our son’s paperwork it will be over a year. All this time out of US on a two year card I worry they will not let me enter when we are standing there with baby and passports in hand. Can anyone tell me if I need to do anything to help my case or if this will be a problem?

I was in the US six months my green card is still good we will be traveling back to states with all our paper work.. Thanks for any information you can give me..
