hello vj members,

my fren has files i485 n i130.her noa1 for i130 has been approved n sent to nvc. n yesterday c got appointment for biometrics on oct 25th.but when c was student c had worked illegally using ssn for 3 months.but since then c has maintained her status n worked legally.now c has gud job n her history of tax payment is also nice.her husband has green card only..............now c is very worried as c had worked illegally for 3 months.does anybody had faced such problem.................or does anybody have idea abt it?

It could be a problem. Also, working illegally as a student probably violates the student status, which means she may be considered to have been out of status.

When is her husband naturalizing? It may be a good idea to wait till her husband is naturalized and then applying as the spouse of a citizen. Then she wouldn't have to worry about stuff like unauthorized work and being out of status.

p.s. please use normal words instead of things like "fren" and "c"
