Interview approved, Visa process should not be affected by the shut down right?

Hey guys,

So I read that the shut down will not impact Spouse Visa process, but my wife's visa status is the following. This updated on http://ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-passporttrack.asp 9/30/2013, the same day shut start...again, I read many post saying this is not related, but its been a full week and this is status update. So just wondering usually how long this will take for GUZ (China) to ship out? Thanks

transit out of the IV Unit has already been paid.

Prepaid, by a piece of the VISA fee.

Sorry, forgot to mention China National Holiday,

October 1,2, and 3.

The IV Unit was open on the 4th, so that's a plus.

Many businesses are shut till the 7th, re-opening on the 8th,

but

CITIC Bank Courier? CGI/Stanley ? unknown when they re-open again, from 4 OCT forward.

I did call the CGI/Stanley helpdesk on the 4th - they were open, and shut on 1,2, and 3.

So - you might have some status change on the 8th, certainly by then... I'm waiting also.

The Courier, CITIC Bank Courier, is not working today. They resume deliveries on Tuesday.

hey!!!, my wife got...although she went directly to the CTIC bank and found out that her package was already there. However on the USTravelDoc site still says process for delivery.....Also when she found out that ctic bank was trying to my my US cell phone number this whole time when they really should call my wife's cell number which was on the registration... Anyway, we are happy now, Chicago here we come! Good luck on yours, hopefully you hear something soon, but may make sense to call the bank if it make sense....

Super Duper WOW ! I am hating these tracking systems already. I monitored it a bit, for Manila IV/ustraveldocs/2GO delivery and they were abysmal as well. I was hoping that wasn't the case for Guangzhou, as CITIC Bank Courier supposedly has a better reputation than 2GO.

Same thing happened to my Fiancee after they had her passport for 4 weeks almost. Status changed AFTER she picked it up, lol.
