Maybe I'm wrong, but....

If you have no plans to live in the USA after getting married, the K1 process probably isn't for you. Think you'd need to be able to show residence in the USA for 3 years after applying for the AOS for her to apply to get her citizenship. Otherwise, if she moved back to Singapore she would be abandoning her petition. You'd be throwing away your time and money.

If she is not a US citizen, or resident, don't know why she would have to file US taxes, even for yourself, if you are earning you money overseas on (someone correct me if I'm wrong) a contract of 2 years or greater, I don't believe you need to pay US taxes either?

You are not wrong. While the K-1 is technically a non-immigrant visa, it is for those intending to immigrant NOW to the U.S. It is not the correct visa for someone intending only to be in the U.S. for a couple of weeks. It could cause problems in processing your case in the future when you do decide to immigrate -- will almost certainly slow it down.

I think that if you get married on a K1 and never apply to adjust status, you can't think of a green card at any time later... You are using a K1 visa for a wrong purpose...She won't even be granted the visa if she says she doesn't want to live in USA. She would have to lie at the interview and that's never a good idea...Again, her future attempts to get a tourist visa would probably be denied...

The OP can use the K-1 as he plans. AOS is not required and since they will be leaving before the 90 days are over then there will be no issue with overstaying or bans. It is not exactly as intended but there is nothing wrong with it.

OP: As far as "sources," for information, go straight to the form instructions, from the government at uscis.gov. There you can see the fee and the place to mail it to, all up-to-date and exact. The form is I-129F. You can also have the forms and instructions mailed to you. No need to find "3 sources" on the "NET," just get the info straight from the horse's mouth.
