advice about when to send the DS2001

Good afternoon visa family,

I would like to say that my K1 Visa is making progress- however I am now so paranoid about creating delays by sending the next forms incorrectly!!!

I have been asked by the US embassy London to go ahead and send the collection of forms: DS156k, DS156, DS157 and the delightful online form DS260. I am interview ready- all except my Medical is in 1 week- Do you think I should go ahead and send the DS2001 (hello embassy I am ready for an appointment letter) along with these other forms- or should I wait until Ive had confirmation that I don't have TB? (you can never be too sure )

This process is exhausting! Glad and also heart broken that so many others are going through this,

Any input is VERY much appreciated!

Go ahead and send them, why not they are asking you to. Once they have them and the results of your medical they will schedule your appointment.

You are better off looking around the UK forum and in fact I would suggest you ought to have posted this there, maybe one of the moderators will move it for you. You will get plenty of responses but they will likely say what i have said.

and fill in your timeline, thats always helpful when you are asking questions as people can see where you are in the process.

I agree with Nobbie.. Send the forms together. We made the mistake of not sending them together, and there was a five week difference in them logging the DS-156, 156k, etc., and them logging the DS-2001. It won't hurt anything to send them all at once, at the rate London is taking to hand out interview dates.

Send them all. Send a cover letter that lists your medical date (and wedding date if you have one!)

Oh just to add....sent the other documents in weeks ago and had medical. Just had bad news on medical but all clear now. We have had a hold up because waiting for my discharge from hospital. This whole thing has taken forever! Thanks again. X

Nope, nothing special needs to go with the DS-2001, just make sure your cover letter has the information that the embassy asks for!
