My fiance will be mailing her DS2001 stating she is ready for the interview, and has all the necessary paperwork. What can we expect this government shutdown to affect? Will she be interviewed and issued a visa from the US Embassy in Germany as normal? Will there be any delays? I am very worried about this last step in the process to being able to see her again in the US!

I am US Citizen living in Kuwait, and we just received our interview date for the end of Oct. So it should be OK...BUT we all will have to see how things go.. Hang in there. :)
