Altho London parking has INSANE costs. INSANE. We paid 65 quid for 24 hours in London.

I don't understand why you have to take the underground after the Stanstead Express? WHy not cab it after the Express?

Heh, don't I know it, but there's summat to be said for the convenience of a private car as opposed to braving the tube with kids and being preggers and all that jazz.

I'd agree... the Tube's not that cheap, especially for cash fares - they're making it ridiculously expensive to pay cash for tickets instead of using an Oyster card, but that's not very practical for anyone who just happens to be in London for the day. A cab would be much less hassle - just follow the signs to the taxi rank at Liverpool Street, it really won't cost much more than a Tube journey for all of you, and will be soooo much less stressful. (Well, there's the traffic to contend with, of course, but... at least you can just sit and relax rather than battle your way on and off the Tube).
