Am I going overboard with my Chat History Submission?

I'm submitting over 100 chat sessions in by copying them out of skype, google chat & yahoo and pasting them into text form. Will they even recognize this without the logo watermarks on the chat logs?

I used the snipping tool from windows 7 to take a screenshot that showed the chat as well as the logo. the problem I was reading is that anyone can just type a conversation. they needed proof. also I take screenshots as well showing the 2 of us on skype or google to show us on cam together. some are picky with what you send.

May 3, 2013 UPS delivery confirmation June 16, 2014 NVC receives corrected papers. (now we wait...again.. )
May 6, 2013 Email Confirmation Case Accepted and routed to USCIS for processing July 10, 2014 Called NVC. due to backlog I have to wait until 8/1 to call
May 10,2013 Check Cashed by DHS July 28, 2014 Called NVC. I was told they still have not reviewed my case.

May 31, 2013 Alien Registration Number changed August 22, 2014 Called NVC to verify information..all was correct?! Not sure why?
July 12, 2013 Case updated with change of address on uscis September 22, 2014 Called NVC to check on things. 2 more weeks of backlog left.
December 4, 2013 Text and email and updated uscis website: case moved to another office for processing When they verify my black ink signature, I should have CC!
December 6, 2013 Text and email and updated uscis website saying case moved to A uscis office September 29, 2014 CASE COMPLETE!!!!
December 10, 2013 Received Hard copy by mail that it was transferred to Nebraska.
January 28, 2014 Called USCIS for update. Told I have to wait 180 days from date of transfer to call about my case. EMBASSY in Casablanca Morocco:
February 16, 2014 Service Request per USCIS website. Was told I should have an answer by March 10 on my request. Medical: October 28, 2014
February 18, 2014 Text and email and updated uscis that alien registration number changed (again) Interview: November 7, 2014 (APPROVED!!)
February 19, 2014 Text and email and update uscis NOA2 for I 130 .. k3 is now a CR1 Visa in hand: November 13, 2014
February 19, 2014 Text email and update uscis Case is shipped to nvc!! POE: JFK November 21 2014 (home at last!)
February 22, 2014 NOA2 Hardcopy received by mail Green card in hand January 2, 2015
February 28, 2014 Follow up email responding to service request confirming case shipped to NVC on February 25, 2014 Social security card in hand January 9, 2015

Problem with yahoo archives is that you can't access a watermark in the chat history so you can only use text.

Like yourself, I used only Yahoo chats. I took a printed two chats for a week, every 3-4 weeks. You just might want to make sure that the content of each chat has you and your gal looking good in the eyes of the USCIS and CO during the interview.

do you have the snipping tool on your computer? if you do.. right click on the name of your fiance... choose conversation history, and take a photo of that list to add with it. make sure to get the yahoo smiley in the top left corner. it shows person, date, time, and conversation.

did you copying them into text form or print them out from yahoo? I'm condsidering buying this http://www.wackyb.co.nz/yahoo/archive_viewer/ for the yahoo messenger and doing the whole process over again because it sounds like they wont accept chats in word format?

I never used that program, but it may work for you. the ones i printed out looked almost like a photo. i just took a snapshot with my snipping tool, saved, and printed. i didnt have to copy paste or type anything.

You can also try opening Skype, clicking on Ctrl and PrtScn keys. Then open a word document and do a Ctrl V to copy. You should see an exact duplicate of the Skype screen.

K-1 Visa

Oct 1st, 2013 – Mailed in I-129F Package to Dallas Lockbox.

Oct 4th, 2013 – Package Delivered.

Oct 9th, 2013 - NOA1 Text and Email

Oct 15th, 2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received in mail. Notice date on hardcopy says October 8th.

Nov 13th, 2013 - NOA2 - update on USCIS website

Dec 9th, 2013 - Petition received at NVC

Dec 11th, 2013 - Petition sent to Manila

Dec 19th, 2013 - Embassy receives petition

Dec 29th-Jan 8th-Our first New Year's together.

Feb 23rd- Fly to Manila to be with Ema for the interview.

Feb 27th, 2014 - Interview scheduled. We were APPROVED dancin5hr.gif

Feb 28th, 2014 - Ema does CFO- Passes with flying colors.

for me i copied and pasted in microsoft word and printed out, it had the name and time/date on each message sent, so no watermarks etc, i had a cover page and wrote SKYPE RECORDS on it. i used it for my interview in accra and it was ok.

I used 10-15 pages of skype messages where I copied/pasted the information and I got an approval without any RFE. It may depend on the country you're petitioning for, but I went a simple route and it didn't seem to be a problem.

Just remember that chat logs are 'secondary' evidence. Your evidence of being together (plane tickets, passport stamps, hotel receipts, etc) with the 2 year period is much more important. I think records of your texts and phone calls over the same period of time as your logs are more important because your showing them your phone bill and history and its much more convincing. Of course you want to include them (chat logs) but sending hundreds of pages isn't really necessary in my opinion. I sent one day of chats for every other month for 2 years so I had 12 pages and I thought that was more than plenty. Good luck!!!

I took screen shots of our YM chats, about 2 pages of chats per month. We use Skype mainly for talking over the phone so I did the same here.

I have a mac and to fit more on each page I simply zoomed out until smaller but still legible (cmd -), took screen shot to select only YM window (cmd-shift-4) and then pasted in a word processor as a jpg (I used MS Word) and reduced all margins to fit more per page. Worked fine for us w/ no RFE.

- 5/513 - NOA1 received by email - 10/16/13 - NOA2 received in mail - US Embassy Manila Interviews Passed 11/13/13 - 3/4/14 Mailed AOS packet - 4/15/14 Biometrics complete

We sent 176 pages of chat when we went for interview at US Embassy in Ghana Consulate amongst other docs. And recently when we sent in paperwork for ROC 176 pages total. Never too much.
