Hello Everyone me calling again more upbeat than before as i have been through many post with people in my situation and a minor caution for a cimt and been approved

anyways thats not my question

my question is this how long will it take after sending my ds forms back to the us embassy in london to get a blummin interview im keen to be off you see and its been 4 weeks since i have sent the forms back off

part of me feels i might possibly be denied due to something very minor in my past i had forgot about up until my acpo results so id like to get to the interview so we could at least find out whats going on

anyone who could give me a half decent answer would be great

cheers all the best chris

It took 30 days before my forms were logged, it really does seem to vary, but if your medical is all done and thats been logged, it's likely next week you'll be logged, then unfortunately have the wait for the interview date then (which again seems to be fluctuating anything from 5 days to 4 weeks). Stay positive, don't worry about the ACPO, it's out of your hands now, just search around for any similar offence problems on VJ to see if you think it will affect your interview

cheers for the reply its annoying right it seems the longest wait i guess as its so close

and i have found many that have been okay with a minor cimt if you want to know it was theft of a orange cone i found in a hedge and got a caution for it well 3 weeks after the incident

trouble is not knowing what a cimt is and forgetting about it as it was so minor i ticked no on the esta forms never wilfully lied or anything thats what freaks me a little but i feel i could be okay as i have seen quite a few others and i fall into the petty offence catagory and it has been the only thing i have ever done and my only contact with the police we never took it to take perminatly just to put on our heads on halloween lol

cheers again more wait it is

Do you know if your forms have been logged the embassy? Some are lucky to have them logged 1-2weeks after sending them whilst others wait longer, mine took 5 weeks and the embassy emailed me today to expect to receive a interview date approximately five weeks after the date they were logged,my forms were logged Sept 9th so I'm not expecting to receive a interview date til around October 14th give or take

You can call department of state on 001 202 485 7600 and then press 1,then 0 once you come to the options.you will need your case number and can simply ask them if the embassy has received all required documents,

As far as being sure you're going to get denied ,I truly believe going with a positive attitude is your best option none of us know for sure so everyone in the same boat.best of luck
