Realized a mistake on i864 but interview coming up

So I just realized that I forgot to white out or scratch out my third most (2010) federal tax return income on question 25. I was actually claimed as a dependent for that particular year by my father and he's the joint sponsor. I initially wrote down my income for that year for that space, but forgot to go back and white it out. My father sent in his tax return for that year with the AOS package. does this make sense? It's just a stupid mistake. Not trying to hide something here. Nvc overlooked it I guess.

The best way to handle this is to tell the truth at the time of the interview if u do not want to delay ur case. If you want to reconsider to make the changes on the form and resend it again, might delayed the case substantially. You can call NVC and explained to them what went wrong. My understanding so far it is much more easy to make changes here in the USA rather to the local consulate. U can call NVC they might send an explanation note to the local consulate. The NVC folks are very helpful.

I would just take a new I-864 at the interview because your case file has been forwarded to your consulate. If CO will ask for it, give it him, if not, I won't bother to even show it. My guess would be that, CO will pay much attention of your latest ITR & current income.
