I've got a big presentation this morning for my VP, so I'm a little nervous. I don't usually get nervous for stuff like this, but it's my first one since I've been at this company, so I really want to make it great. Wish me luck!

You gonna knock 'em out, girl !

 We should all send Cairo letters with instructions on how to use the print feature. Who wants to join ??

Wanna hears something reallly bad ??? Yesterday I was working on the paper all day. Well around noon my mom came over and she brought me a Carls Jr combo meal. She said "You shouldn't have to worry about what to eat when you have such a big paper to write".

Well after I go to school that evening and turn in the paper Ali calls me and says "Come straight home I have dinner taken care of". So what did we have for dinner ? He brought hamburgers and fries from a local restraunt !!

So little fat pregnant Massouna had hamburgers TWICE yesterday .... I know it's crazy. I felt like such a fatty ... but what was I supposed to do ???

NOT EAT IT

Good Afternoon to all! Had a nice morning. I got to sleep in until 8, then I had my doctor appointment at 9. Everything went smoothly. They took some blood to test and took a pregnancy test just to see if that has anything to do with my wierdness. But alas, I am not pregnant, and so they are going to try one more thing to see if it can get things moving. I have to call around and find out if I can get an appointment for a specialist sometime next month. Hopefully, I wont have to wait until I get back from Morocco.

So, today I am working both jobs again. My mother didn't bother me at all last night because she knows that when I get home from my second job, I don't want to be bothered at all. I stayed up pretty late with the hubby. We talked to our friend Moustapha who had his AOS interview yesterday. He said it was a piece of cake. Nothing to be worried about and that the lady only kept one photo. Now I have to go through all of our photos and pick the ones I don't mind parting with just in case. I wonder how many I should take? I think I will make a small album with pictures from our time together. We have way to many photos! It's going to take me forever to go through them all. Anyway, Not much going on today. Just working and hanging out. Hope you all have a good day!

Jean- I hope you get some news soon! Sending you some extra MOJO!

I came out from work last night and heard this pitiful crying... a cat in obvious distress. I searched around the parking lot for the source of the sound, and soon found a little kitten cowering under a car, shivering and mewing loudly. It took a while, but I finally coaxed it out. It was a little black kitten, maybe 3 months old. She was scared, but she eventually let me pet her and pick her up. She was so thin, I could feel her ribs and backbone sticking out. She immediately started purring.

Of course I couldn't just leave her there. I took her home. She was funny in the car, crawling all over the place, trying to stand on my shoulder and look out the window at the lights, purring the entire time. When we got home, I gave her some cat food, and she wolfed it down, eventually polishing off 2 whole cans ! Afterwards, I made myself scrambled eggs for dinner, and she wanted some of that, too.... her belly looked like she swallowed a baseball !

I thought maybe Mahmoud might be a little annoyed at me just bringing home a kitten without even warning him -- we already have a cat. But he's in love with her. He played with her all evening, and he already named her Samra. And she's a good little girl -- I set up a pan for her, and she did her business right where she was supposed to. (My other cat is an outside cat, so I don't normally have one ready.) She's so cute -- black with a white throat and 4 white socks. I will post pics later.
