Hello everyone,

Thank you for your help thus far in my journey. I have a question, but before that, I'd like to write an update. So...I am now in Atlanta, Georgia. We got married and have since July filled for adjustment of status. I have gone for my finger prints and photo to be taken- biometrics. We are still waiting to get a reply from USCIS as regards my work authorization and adjustment of status. That aside , I must mention that staying home doing nothing totally sucks and its very tiring- you eat, sleep, watch tv and get fat most of the time. I know this is supposed to be like a nice thing to do for those who are busy with their jobs. lol...

My question is, some of my medical exams vaccination shots are due by the 20th of Oct. I am kinda confused if I can go take the shots at just any hospital and have them update my immunization card or I have to take the vaccination shots from a certified USCIS surgeon here in Atlanta? Thank you Visa-journey, I really do appreciate your help thus far guys.

If had at least one in a series of the required vaccinations at the time of your K-1 medical and had them marked off on a properly filled out DS-3025, then you should not need to see a civil surgeon for the I-693. However, I would wait to get anymore vaccinations until you see if you receive an RFE for them. At that time you get whatever you need and have the civil surgeon mark them all off on the I-693.

I hear you on that.

It's been only a week but my Wife literarily meets me at the door when I get home from work with her handbag in hand ready to go out.

Good luck on the rest of the process.

In any case, you can get the shots anywhere (where it's cheaper), just make sure to have some documentation that you got them, and then CS can just put it into an I693 if you need it.
