Hi,

So my application was sent to Vancouver, I contacted them via email to confirm some details and the address.

They responded and said they have sent out pack 3.

I replied asking when they sent it so I can make sure I know if my address situation would be an issue.

They responded with an email saying see attached file.

Attached file was a jpeg of a letter dated today.

Stating the following

"This office has received notification that you have all of the required documents. Please read and follow carefully...etc..etc

Schedule your interview..etc etc

Schedule your medical.. etc..etc

I seem to have skipped package 3 , suggestions ? Should I just go to the online one and do it ?

The letter is the "packet 3". You can now schedule your interview, which you should do first before scheduling your medical.

They should have emailed you packet 3 which is the forms that they want you to fill out (DS-156,DS-156K, forms&docs checklist, etc) before sending pcaket 4 saying that you can schedule your medical and interview.

Thanks for the replies, I didn't receive the 3rd packet, so I am going to just grab it offline, fill it out and send them back like it requests via fax, then book my interview tomorrow or this afternoon, that should be ok right ? I have all the documents already so I should be good to go.

I would send them in, email the Vancouver Consulate, explain the situation and ask them what you should do? If you book your appt too early it will get cancelled. I would hold off for now booking the interview and medical to be on the safe side.

Ok, now I am truly confused.

I am going to copy the email chain that I have had with the attachment they sent.

Hi,
I am the beneficiary for case #
name
DOB : **
Petitioner : name
DOB : dob*
*Please note USCIS originally had DOB as # (this was corrected early June 2013 confirmation: #) recent conversation with NVC still had old DOB showing.
My question are as follows.
Do I need to worry about DOB for petitioner even if we have confirmation as above?
Secondly, when completing the relevant forms to send in, I put my mailing address as P BOX...,. I also placed my physical address of .... Can you confirm that any packages will/have been sent to PO BOX ...?

Petitioner’s DOB has been corrected.

If you wish to use your PO BOX as your mailing address we will do so. We have mailed your Packet three to the following address:

....

U.S. Consulate General

Vancouver, BC., Canada

Hi,
Thank you for the information. Are you saying it has already been mailed ? And if so, can you confirm the date it was sent. I will confirm with the post office if they will be able to deliver.

Please see the attached document.

Hi,
Thank you for the mail. However I am confused. Should I not be doing the following ?
Before I apply for an interview?
If so I will fill out the forms and send them in, I have all the required documents anyway.

Please follow the instructions I have e-mailed you.

U.S. Consulate General

Vancouver, BC., Canada

I think I am going to go ahead and finish off the forms, and fax them in, and on the coversheet with a copy of this email chain.
