Hi Chillin,

My NOA1 was at about the same time as yours, so I think we are in the same boat. Lately, we've been seeing a lot of August and September approvals come through. With some luck, and good holiday spirit, our ship will come in soon too. Mid to Late January approval is my expectation, although a Christmas or New Year's treat would be really REALLY nice!

You should expect a little bit of a slow down because of the holiday season. The USCIS is staffed by people that expect to take time off at the holidays the same as you and I. It does slow down a little but come January, they begin processing in normal fashion. I'd say mid to late January is a good time line but just learn to be patient. Many things can happen along the way that screw up the system. Also, be prepared to file additional evidence if they "Request Further Evidence" (RFE's).

Well from what I've seen my guess would be somewhere between 60 and 365 days. I'm guessing you may be closer to the 60, but no way to know for sure. Good luck.

One can not talk about certainty or even rationality when discussing this topic. However, one can talk about probability.

The probability is high, if there are no problems with your petition, that you will be approved within a 70-90 period following receipt of NAO1. Check the timelines from past posts. It is all there.

I figured this out and it did not provide too much comfort as I was terrified I would fall out of the probability zone! However, it came in 75 days, as predicted.

Good luck. It will come.
