Have you met My boyfriend? He says he's a french model, I met him on the internet. ...

Are y'all saying its possible that the internet cant be wrong? I still like to get my paws on an official tangible document that is as important & life changing as this. wink.png

Thank you Harpa....thats exactly the information I was looking for.

Well you didn't ask and no one is saying. But for now the letter is of no need. What you need to be doing in about a weeks time is have NVC on speed dieal and get that case# and start getting things lined up for embassy. Go to their website and get your documents together. Schedule interview and pay Visa fee. Go run do it, do it. You are Approved!!dancin5hr.gifgoofy.gif .

I don't think anyone was being mean; it is just surprising to the old hands that people often post their emails, especially the bit that says "we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)", but they still question the message when they should be jumping for joy. Your doubt came across in your title: 'I assume'. People are happy for you and want you to enjoy this moment not worry!

Congratulations! kicking.gifkicking.gif

Cathy,

The whole point of my question was the fact that I DIDNT get an email or a letter and was asking when others got theirs. I just cant understand why almost nobody has read my post but still commented on some random part of it?

Even you must not have read it because you include this ` people often post their emails,`...gosh guys...please, I`m here for help not uncalled for criticism.

Once again..I used `assume` because I havent yet received a letter OR an email I was going on what I saw on an internet site.

Thank you for your congratulations. good.gif

It's a fair cop! blush.png I did read it when you first posted but I didn't go back and re-read it before I posted later on.

I stand by my point though - people want you to stop worrying and enjoy the moment - the email and hard copy letter will turn up.

I used `assumed `because I have not received an official letter, all the information I have at the moment is from the website. It was not an email.

I will have to agree with the OP. The notifications on the website are great but it could also be an error. I received the "we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the State department" notification on the website too during my K-1 journey but several calls later I was told it was an error. I'm not saying it's wrong all the time but there is a chance.

Now I'm doing the I-130 and according to the website on 10/1/13 my case was updated three times:

1. My Alien Registration Number was changed

2. Notice requesting additional evidence was mailed

3. Notice that we have approved this I130 was mailed

I'm happy but not celebrating until I see the letter. OP I hope we see it early next week.

K1 - Filed March 2011

- Denied March 13, 2012

- Placed in AP March 14,2012

- Sent back to USCIS November 2012

- Expired March 2013

WASTED A YEAR FIGHTING THE DENIEL

MARRIED MARCH 15, 2013

1-130 Approved 3/3/2014 :-)

Finally made it home 3/18/2014
