I'll have my interview some time next week.

Since I'm new here, I wanted to go over the contract, or any thing that I have to sign with my husband.

I can read as much regarding job practices and the like but I would still want my husband's opinion about it.

Would it be proper to ask the hiring manager that you'd want to go over the contract with my husband? Or would that be taken against me?

i suggest, instead of mentioning a husband at the interview,

you say

'I want to take the contract home and read it for 2 days'

That gives you time to do whatever you want, husband, lawyer, paralegal, minister, who-ever.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
