Hello all,

We are adding ourselves to the list.

The letter states that her application is being processed by the

National Benefit Center?

What is the difference between the NBC vs the CSC?

Here are our dates regarding her AOS (EAD/AP) journey:

Received 10/7

Notice Date 10/09

Check Cashed 10/10

FP Appointment Letter received 10/21

FP Appointment 11/6

*Tomorrow she will try an early walk-in (17610 Bellflower Blvd, Bellflower, CA).

Can anyone share their past experiences with this FP place?

Thank you all.

Yup! Like JTB11, I used my Married Name too. Also, I just put "N/A" for the Middle Name and they accepted it.

Hi guys, when you say Biometrics Walk-in, does that mean that you are trying to Walk-in the USCIS office outside your official Biometrics schedule?

Went to my scheduled biometrics appointment yesterday at USCIS-ASC in Fargo at 2pm. Stayed for about 30 minutes, because the IO that's supposed to verify my forms was on the phone. In that 30 minutes, there were at least 3 applicants including myself.

Hi guys, when you say Biometrics Walk-in, does that mean that you are trying to Walk-in the USCIS office outside your official Biometrics schedule?

Yup. That's what they mean by a "Walk-in". It's going in earlier than your appointment schedule.

Hello fellow October filers and Happy Halloween! halloween.gif

This is my timeline (Adjusting from K1):

10/11/13 - Sent out AOS package (AOS, EAD, AP)
10/15/13 - Receipt date

10/17/13 - NOA1 date
10/22/13 - Notice with Biometrics date

11/18/13 - Biometrics appt

I am a little concerned that we are going to get an RFE. I wasn't as diligent about reading ahead of time on the AOS side of things as I was with the first part of the K1 process...and I'm not sure if our attorney sent the form about his vaccinations all being up to date. Hope we don't get an RFE. :(

Hello fellow October filers :) I just filed for AOS at the beginning of last month. When I did the status check the past weeks it kept saying ''Acceptance'' for the I-485 while the other forms said ''inital review'' already. Yesterday the I-485 status check switched to ''Request for Evidence''.. :( I hope it won't slow down the process too much... I was hoping to not get one but apparently I was trying to get the AOS stuff down so quickly that I did a mistake on the Affidavit of Support form. :/

AOS

10/11/2013 - NOA's via e-mail/text message + checks cashed

11/04/2013 - AOS RFE

01/14/2014 - "Potential Interview Waiver Case" letter received - dated 01/10/14

I'm sure it's going to be just a bit of a delay when send all your RFE stuff back in. Good luck and keep us updated! :D

Did my biometrics this week on Wednesday (29th), took barely 10 mins. Nobody else was there. And today got a notice that an RFE letter was sent out. We expected that though.
