We have same time for filing. Today got answer for my request about interview day which I sent on January 6. Without answering during a month, right in last day they gave me interview day today, and seems the email arrived before change of status on the site. Wonderful! With processing time shown for our office as 4 months for us it will be 6 month at least. I don't know in what way they sort people for time and etc, but that's what they do...."you can\t fight city hall"-old American saying about American government.

Just was calling to 800-375-5283 number and asked to submit request for me about interview cause the site didn't allow me to do through before end of processing time for our office. Got number of request from the person.

Why they answered may be cause 30 days requirement for request last day...or eventually FBI finished their's checks on me. I think they don\t give the day for interview only when FBI checks are not finished. And I called to ask where is my case today, answer was-in NBC and they are sending to local office now. so they give interview after FBI checks, and processing times are nothing. I just hope that FBI really finished their work, other way can be hanging even after interview. here are some cases on the site.

But what I'm sure that if you are legally entered country and you did nothing wrong here feel free to ask what is going on. if not they can be not sure you need it too much.

Don't believe what they say, Watch time lines on this site for this office and you will see that some people who filed after you already had interview and most had interview after 4 months http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslist.php?op5=5,6,8,9,10,11

All depends on FBI checks, only after clearing there NBC is giving interview day and sending case to local office. And actually that FBI check is the reason for interview, if they have interest in you, so even with K1 and nothing bad done, you will have interview for sure. If not, case will run quickly and likely quickly even without interview. Keep interview in our case means to keep extra time before and even after interview if the name check is not done.

Got a letter for a possible interview waiver 2/20/14. At least we know somethings going on with the case, it's been so long before we had heard anything.

I'm glad you heard something - we still haven't heard a thing. Hopefully you are one of those people that gets that letter and the green card comes a week or two later. :)

Fingers crossed that will happen. The job search is keeping my mind from the green card at the minute which is a welcome distraction, hopefully you might here soon, I know we are on very similar timelines :)

Our 485 was accepted on October 30, 2013. We received and completed biometrics, and have also received our EAD with the travel permit on January 03, 2014. However the Case status for the 485 has not changed from "acceptance" and is being processed at the National Benefits Center.

It has been 120 days since our application was accepted, and we've heard nothing. Is something wrong?
