Hi guys! Well, with the help of my MIL, we filed our paperwork sometime on October 1, 2013. We haven't received any receipt or notice they got it yet though.

We did the same thing and just had a copy of my medical vaccinations in the package. My husband and I did discuss it and he said we could just wait till they ask us to supply a form I-693. Reading the instructions, the K1 need not give a I-693 but could instead provide a copy of the medical supplement (the DS 3025) they were given during the medical required for the K1 prior to coming to the US. However, I've been reading some (mostly from the Philippines) who have been required to provide I-693. sleep.png Que sera sera. Whatever will be, will be.

I just submitted my AOS package Oct 3rd, 2013 last Thursday, and we don't have I-693 and just provided my DS 3025 from St. Lukes Medical. I'm now worried of RFE lol. But I know two people (VJers) they just submitted DS 3025 without any problem, no RFE.

Hey, welcome to the thread!

Yeah, most of my friends did too, and most of them are now worried for an RFE because one (She's a Late August Filer) already got an RFE for lacking the I-693. So I guess it really just depends on the person handling your case. Some get lucky without it. Some don't.

But, in any case, good luck! :D

Ekk hopefully no RFE for me, checked the check list of I-693 here at VJ and my DS Form has it all everything (age inappropriate, may require blanket waiver etc) Anyways, I read the I-485 many times and it said there:

C. Fiance/K1 Visa: If you are a K-1 fiancee or K2 who had a medical exam within past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiance, you only need to submit vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You include the vaccination supplement with your form I-485.

UGH!! Whew, well Praying there will be no RFE on my end as Civil Surgeon is thousand miles away.

YAY! Haha, If we were in the same state, we would possibly get the same biometrics appointment date and might bump into each other. Our case timeline is sooo similar.

I guess I'll wedge myself into this one since I sent out my packet on 9/30, but USPS doesn't pick it up until next day. Good luck and Godspeed.

My only concern with our packet is that we submitted the "Customer Copy" of our marriage certificate. The certified copy won't be ready for another 8-10 weeks. I've seen other California filers not get RFE'd for this, so we're hoping this doesn't delay the process.

Hiya! Good Luck! Welcome to the group! :D I know a couple from Hawaii that submitted just a copy of that. I think it takes a while for them to get certified copies too. So far, no RFE's for them yet. They already have their biometrics appointment date set. :)
