Finally I can share good news too: EAD and AP got approved today!! So happy right now. The job hunting can begin smile.png

EAD approved today! No word on AP, but I understand this is relatively common. Woohoo!

I am happy to share with you that my GC has been approved.

yes, I think you should just check your card to make sure it's a combo...our AP still says the same thing but it's a combo card. :)

Just had my interview, everything went well and the officer said he will approve us today. My online status however is changed to Initial Review... what, anyone experienced this?

Too soon to complain, it has just changed again to Card/Document Production yay

Any of you guys had any luck with job hunting so far? i figured we'd be hearing from the companies we have applied by now since the holidays have come and gone. I am considering volunteering.

My wife and I just finished our interview here at the San Diego office and..... HER GREEN CARD WAS APPROVED biggrin.png WOOOO!! Good luck to all smile.png

10/8/13 - package delivered - DAY 2
10/11/13 - Check cashed - DAY 5
10/18/13 - Received NOA1s - DAY 12
10/21/13 - Received biometrics appt letter (scheduled for 11/07) - DAY 15
10/22/13 - Walk-in biometrics successful (Columbus OH office) - DAY 16
11/14/13 - Form i-485 status changed to "Test and interview" - DAY 39
11/22/13 - Expedited AP and EAD approved!! (EAD status changed to "card production") - DAY 47
11/30/13 - Received combo card and two copies of paper AP (weird) - DAY 55
12/5/13 - Interview date updated on USCIS website (Jan 31, 2014) - DAY 60
1/31/14-Rejected Green card because I forgot to mention a previous J1 visa that will require a waiver to apply for an immigrant visa...

hello everyone just wanted to share that i just got my interview date for feb 11, hoping for the best!

Finally you got it! Mine still hasn't arrived yet. I'm already expecting to get that possible-interview-waiver-but-in-reality-a-longer-wait mail. -groan- :(

I wonder if you could help me understand my current AOS status.

On October 3rd, I submitted my spouse's applications.

Her I-797C has a notice date of October 9th:

Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

I would appreciate any insight regarding this application status.
