does anyone know what kinda insurance for the new green card holders? if i have not find a job yet, where i can get it? ..i heard under the new law, you have to buy insurance.(my spouse can not add me to his plan)

I was able to find my insurance through www.ehealthinsurance.com. They have lots of different plans to choose from. I was approved for the first health insurance I applied at and everything worked out just fine.

My status update is still stuck in RFE Response Review. No work permission yet either... So the RFE did slow the process down a lot.

I just called a representative since I also had to change my adress. She said I should expect a response after 60 days of sending the RFE in. Next Monday (Jan. 6) it would be exactly 60 days but the Change of Adress Tool says I should expect a response for changing the adress by Jan. 11. So I really really hope it won't take too long anymore... I need to work, slowly running out of money. lol

Congrats to everyone who got good news! Please everyone cross your fingers for us too. :)

With all the holidays, things are slowing down. But you'll hear from them soon. (Hopefully!) Crossing my fingers for you! :)

Still awaiting EAD. Feel as if we are falling behind the queue.....

You're on day 62 today (holidays included), you should be hearing news soon. :) Good luck! Got mine on my 62nd day from NOA1. Ronn63 is correct. The average has been 60 days from NOA1 :)

You're still on target. Ours took 61 days I think, (check my timeline.) We're a step closer to the end with each passing day.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year celebration! Same goes for me as well; I haven't had any status updates regarding my I-485. Still job hunting though. No luck as of yet.

Happy New Year fellow October filers! :)

Hopefully we'll all get good news soon...we got our EAD card but then were told we had to go through the driver's test (our local DMV wasn't sure if he had to take a written, road or both). Hope to take it in the next week or so to get the hubby mobile ..he'll be substituting hopefully while he looks to get a permanent teaching job for September.

Hope everyone gets good news soon and congrats to those already approved! :)
