I think Valigetta was talking about the USCIS website being down. It was under maintainance that time when it was posted. And the Case Status section was down as well.

Thanks, dearie. Yeahhhh, it's the VERY cold weather I'm getting used to. The other night it went as far as -25ºF to -30ºF (or -31.667ºC to 34.44ºC) and I'm from a tropical country! Metro Manila only gets cold during the rainy season up to about -18ºC or 64.4ºF at night! (Though I have experienced -5ºC in Denver 2 years ago.)

Ahh, I can imagine that's quite an adjustment...it's cold enough here on the East Coast - I can't imagine up there - that would be an adjustment for me! At least you have hubby to keep you nice and warm at night. biggrin.png My hubby is from Wales so he's used to it being a bit rainy and cool although not this cold - but he does love when it snows - we'll see if he gets sick of it lol!

On November 24, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for December 30, 2013. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

yay! congrats!! :) so you will get the EAD ahead of the interview, right? that's just for the GC or do I have that wrong?

Here is our timeline so far (adjusting from K-1):

10/08 - package sent

10/10 - check cashed

10/11 - numbers of cases assigned and NOAs-1 sent

10/16 - text and e-mail notifications

10/19 - 3 NOA-1 in mail box

10/27 - invitation for biometrics for 11/08

10/30 - early walk-in for biometrics

no changes in statuses, waiting ClockWatch2.gif ..........................................

I just got my EAD e-mail as well saying it is in Card Production smile.png Funny how it just jumps from Initial Review to the last and final step, huh?

My I-485 is still in Testing and Interview (we haven't received the letter yet) but frankly my wife doesn't care about that....all that matters to her is that she starts working kicking.gif

Good luck to everyone who hasn't received their EAD yet. Be patient, you will get the e-mail sooner than you know it!

Well lots to be thankful for in this thread today for our fellow October filers..keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of us to hear soon!

11.27.13 (day 56) I-131 approved and on post decision activity while EAD is on card production #confused

12.06.13 the EAD/AP card combo arrived and was sent to my home country via DHL.I LEFT WITHOUT IT !!and i arrived in the US just fine dancin5hr.gif

01.27.14 Interview date in Oakland park,FL

Thanksssss! It should probably be in the mail! Well, look at the bright side. You get your EAD. then your Interview, at least it's moving along and just days after interview, you'd get approved! Green Card > EAD right? :D
