i know people who got their EAD card and green card but their status is still on initial review, it doesn't get updated. do you guys know people with similar situations?

Yeah, pretty happy.

No activity on I-485 for me yet.

Biometrics was in Baltimore.

I dont care about when i get the card,i just want to be approved.As soon as am approved am outta here.lol.....But i will call them tomorow and tell them to expedite the EAD and AP,Hopefully they will do both

Hello October filers! Nice to meet you guys! We are October filers too:) Let's wait for our interviews/approvals together!

Here is our timeline so far (adjusting from K-1):

10/08 - package sent

10/10 - check cashed

10/11 - numbers of cases assigned and NOAs-1 sent

10/16 - text and e-mail notifications

10/19 - 3 NOA-1 in mail box

10/27 - invitation for biometrics for 11/08

10/30 - early walk-in for biometrics

no changes in statuses, waiting ..........................................

I've only read it through VJ. I hope Teamswirly gets hers in the mail soon! I hope it happens to all of us! It doesn't matter if the status is in initial review as long as we got our cards so we can workkkk! Haha

Looks like right about the two month mark (plus or minus a few days) for those who are getting the notification that EAD/AP cards are in production (lannister08 and nervousmark).

yes today is DAY 60 and my ead application moved from initial review to card production

how long before they mail it?

I have no idea if they go out the next day or not, but based on other posts, people tend to receive the cards in the mail between 5-8 days after the status change.

I just got my EAD e-mail as well saying it is in Card Production Funny how it just jumps from Initial Review to the last and final step, huh?

My I-485 is still in Testing and Interview (we haven't received the letter yet) but frankly my wife doesn't care about that....all that matters to her is that she starts working

So i called the 1800 number.I got this girl who kept putting me on hold and didnt know **pardon language.She said that i should get my card on the 2nd.Then i asked get it in my hand or approved.She said approved.I was quite skeptical,how did she know the exact date.Then she told me to make an infopass and that i will get.My infopass was a bum,ofcourse the refused if its not an emergency.So i just put in a request to expedite it,and i will fax the wedding invitation letter,our plane tickets and a letter that will make anyone with a heart cry.lol and wish for the best.I mean the worst they can do is say NO.
