I don't understand why they are so restrictive with the applications but they loose so many documents..

I am still "testing and interview" since last wednesday, nothing in the mail yet. The other applications, still under initial review.

Well you sent everything fast, so hopefully they will be fast as well!

Am still waiting for my letters for the interview too since 10/31!!!!!!!.I really need my AP,I have booked a trip to my bro's wedding and it is a week away crying.gifcray5ol.gifcray5ol.gif Hate this

I thought I read somewhere that it was possible to get more RFE's ? I am about 85% certain I read it some place....

It is definitely possible to get multiple RFE's. During my wife's Fiance Visa, we got 2 RFE's which sucks because you would think they would send you all the missing information in one RFE but that's not how the USCIS works.

Good luck to all those still waiting! We received an e-mail on 11/19 saying that we should be getting something in the mail regarding interview scheduling :) Although honestly, all my wife cares about at this point is the EAD, she wants to start working already!!

Cursory update. Our 485 got RFE'd about two weeks ago due to missing supporting evidence in 864. They wanted the W2, 1099, and Schedules for the recent tax year. They were mailed off 3 days ago and just got update that our 485 is in "Testing and Interview." In the meantime, 131 is produced and mailed out. 765 is still in Initial.

Good luck everyone. Stay happy and healthy for the holidays. Good things come in $1070 packages.

OMG that's a quick update! I sent out my RFE doc 2 weeks ago, and until my status is still "We received your RFE blah.." Good for you. And my EAD and AP are both still stuck in NOA 1 message from the website. :-/

Wow I just found this thread, was wondering why we don't have an October filer thread hehe...

My 485 is in testing and interview, and it says "reading for scheduling" but I am really worried the interview date will be when me and my husband are back in our home country in December. Is there a way to reschedule 485 interview date to a later date?

Tried to get a Non-drivers ID for me with my father-in-law today. The woman behind the desk says I have everything but she can't pull up my information, which we guessed it's probably because I don't have any status until I get my permanent residency card (or at least my EAD, which I hope would suffice).

Been checking the USCIS website everyday for any changes EAD and AP is still in Initial Review and AOS is still in Acceptance status.

ive been checking mine as well. does your timeline not tell you and estimate of when you should get your ead approved? mine says between the 27-29th.

I cant get anything no id no license no nothing without an ead, valid i 94, or GC... My license has been expired since 2006. soooo I REALLY cant wait for it to get here!!

I got text messages and e mail when files were received. But no update was sent to me for the testing and interview! I really hope next week will be the good one for everyone!!!! I also called uscis they told me everything is " on time" ...but what's on time? Lol .Is it true each case is process different ?? Or is just a way of saying?
