You are not alone, we are all here with you This is not an easy process. The waiting is a killer but remember why you started. Go back in time and remember all the good times and silly moments you had with him. Take those memories and imagine of doing them here together again :-)

If you can visit please go but if not make the best of skype, viber, tango or anything else you are using to keep in touch. We have date nights, if you call it that, his 8 hours ahead of me...lol. We try to do the best we can with the situation at hand. I know January seems far but it will be here before you know it. Don't give up!!!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP! Me and my Filipino wife thought we were "home free" then the physical at St. Luke's and two doctors say X-ray fine and last say 'suspicious' so she failed and had to endure the 10 weeks of "Sputum" exam,..,., but we remained strong, and got through it, and it was worth it, STAY STRONG, AND DREAM OF THE FUTURE, I was ready to give up but loved my wife too much, so we made it, """HANG IN THERE, YOU CAN DO IT!!!! WE lost almost 3 months, with the whim of one probably, paid off doctor! They fail so many a week at St. Luke's each week, (mandatory?????)

I feel your pain, but don't give up! You've already gotten so far. Hang in there, I know it's really frustrating at times, but you just have to be patient a little bit longer. :-)

I feel for you. But 4 or 5 months is nothing when you are both finally together forever. If you're truly love him, you would sacrifice to get the pain for a short period of time. You already have your NOA-2, I consider you're lucky since many VJers here have to wait for a long period to complete the whole process. Stay strong there.

Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster.Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat

You really have to be an adult about this, and not a love struck teenager yes there's a wait but it's not that long!! In that time you have a chance to say bye to your friends and family seize this chance and think your not only breaking your own heart but also your fiancées which is totally unfair just wait it out! You can't just fill that hole with another person you came this far just over come it do something daily talk to each other Skype with them we all have to.

I Skype with Jessica every night and I set an alarm at 4am every morning so I can tell her goodnight and sweet dreams.

Back in June or July when I got the September interview date I was sure I couldn't possibly hang in there.

For whatever reason those final 2 months were the hardest but we hung in there.

I'm going to ask you to do the same as the reward is amazing at the end.

I thought I was prepared for my Wifes arrival but I wasn't. So take time to prepare. Apparently I needed more than two mismatched cups, too small cooking pans and disposable paper plates - lol.

i am tired of waiting, got my NOA2 , now the earliest embassy date is January. my heart cannot take any more. i am calling it quits. i am making irrational decisions. the loneliness is eating me alive. i wish i never stated this. i wish you all well in your journey.

Your calling it quit on your relationship or coming to live here with him, so because of the fact that its taking forever makes you want to quit.. i cant stand weak people...

I can't believe you can quit !!! Think about how much you love your fiancé or spouse before you quit then think if you get the answer to quit know you never loved him. True love waits!!!! Like anybody else I waited my visa 8 good months and each single day I lived with a sad heart full of tears. Now it's one month since we are together and I feel the wait was worth this.
