Hello Everyone. Btw you all are awesome and give great advice and are very encouraging. Anyway I sent of my I-129F form Sep 26 and sent it next day services. However i still have not received any email confirming they have received it. For those of you that completed that email form how long before you received your email? Its making me worry that maybe i didn't fill out something granted its only been a week but as you all know this situation of getting the person you love and want to start your life with to be where you are through immigration is so nail biting. My fiance is in Jamaica for any of you filling from the US for a fiance in Jamaica what was your time line? Thanks heart.gif

If it makes you feel any better, mine was received 4:40 am in the morning of the 27th, and I haven't received anything either.

I've been following the timeline of another person here, and in talking with her, her first email notification was not until about 4 days later. But it's random at best. We shouldn't get the first email until they set up the NOA1 and the petition has been started (they apparently won't email just to say Hey we got it!)

I would recommend doing what I am doing (besides being paranoid, don't worry I'm being that way too :))

Call your bank every day and when they cash the check, you know you're in the clear. The others have told me first it goes to the lockbox, then it gets sent to the service center. At the service center, then they cash your check, and ONLY then do they send you your first email once the petition has been accepted to begin.

Frustrating, sure, you're not alone, but hopefully that will help you!

Welcome to the forum.

Did you by chance send your petition packet as recommended by the VJ step-by-step K-1 Guide? If so, have you received USPS confirmation of delivery?

Mail the I-129F Package to the USCIS

You should mail the completed form(s) to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox. Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.

Hopefully you will receive confirmation shortly. The great information on this site can be quite helpful for the rest of your visa journey.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

"Si vis amari, ama" - Seneca
