The NVC schedules appointments for interviews in Amman the first 2 weeks of the month for the following month. So at this point you interview will be, at the earliest in December, as long as there are enough slots.

Mabrook, I knew sending in the marriage contract would get you a case complete. Yay!

Hope your interview date is soon!! Good luck

Yayyyy!!! I hope it will be soon! How soon after the interview will the Visa be ready?

If you are not put in AP, you will get your visa within a week. After my husband got approval he had it in hand in 3 days. The standard answer from the embassy is 2 weeks, but I don't know anyone from Jordan who has had to wait longer than a week. Just pray for no AP

InshaAllah not, last thing I need is MORE delays.

BTW, since you had experience in Amman, how much was the medical test from the test center?

Oh and one last question.. The US Embassy in Amman has a "make an appointment" link on the site. What kind of appointment is that exactly? For example, if I schedule an appointment and bring all corresponding documents, will they start interviewing my wife? Or will we have to wait for them to schedule us with an interview?

Don't know how much the medical was, my husband went and paid for it on his own. I don't think it was more than 100jds including immunizations and chest X-rays. I guess it would depend in which place you decide to do the medical. When you schedule it ask and I am sure they will tell you. Good luck!

I have no idea what the make appointment link is. You will bring all documents and the medical the day of the interview, never sooner
