Hopefully you will hear soon. If you don't get a reply by the end f the week call the NVC and ask for a manager, they will be able to look into your file and tell you what's up. Once I sent them the contract it was literally a day until I got case complete. Good luck and Insha'Allah she will be here soon

Heyy and Eid Mubarak!!

Welll yesterday I got a reply from NVC with "Recall: AMMxxxxxxxxxx" in the subject line, and the following in the body message:

"NVCElectronic would like to recall the message, "AMMxxxxxxxxxx"."

Problem is..... ALL my messages are titled with my case number so I have no idea which message they're talking about.. I'm going off a limb and assuming that they're referring to the latest message. This truly sucks =/

You really need to call the NVC directly and talk to a tier 2 human(manager), you are getting nowhere with email. Call and ask to speak to a supervisor, if one isn't available leave a message for one to return your call, they will call back. Seriously it is time to stop screwing around in email, you are never going to get a case complete at this rate.

I def am replying the correct paperwork. I mean, I can't go wrong with sending them a copy of her passport bio, our marriage certificate, her birth certificate, and police certificate from Jordan. Those are the four things they claimed they have not recieved. I sent all the above, ALONG with translated copies so as to avoid future problems.

Only problem with constantly calling them is I am out here in Jordan lol. I did have my dad call them as he is in America. He called them and said that it seems that the pdf file might have been too large and did not attach properly. They told my dad to have me send each paper/document individually which I did earlier today. Other than that, I don't really know what else to do sad.png

Good luck to you too!!

Are you using a correct bar code cover sheet??

Quick update!

Sooo out of frustration we ended up involving a lawyer who happens to be a friend of ours. He has been helping out and sent documents that seemed to have been missing and/or incorrect. A couple days ago, I got an email from "NVC Attorney" this time and this email was definitely different from the typical "send us the same RFE that you sent last month" email. It actually gave me feed-back and asks that we correct a few sections of the OAS, but they wrote not to send to NVC, rather to bring the corrected documents with us to the interview. Does that mean that our case is complete and interview date is nearing??

This is what was written in the email, and hopes sure are rising:

"______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
NVC has completed the review of this case. However, our review of the
I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form
and supporting documents that you have submitted indicates that there is
still some missing documentation.
We are sending you the attached checklist, which indicates which
documents are still missing. You should obtain these documents and
forward them to the visa applicant so they may be presented at the final
interview. The applicant must present all required forms and documents,
including the missing items to the Consular officer at the visa interview."
"I-864, Affidavit of Support Checklist
[x] The NVC recently completed our review of your visa case. While you meet the minimum qualifications for a visa
interview to be scheduled your Affidavit of Support contained one or more sections with missing or incorrect
information. Please review the additional instructions below then complete a new Affidavit of Support. (You can
download the I-864 form and instructions at http://www.uscis.gov/i-864.) Once you have completed the new
Affidavit of Support, please provide it to the principal applicant to bring to his or her visa interview. Do not submit
your new Affidavit of Support to the NVC, as doing so will reopen your case and cause processing delays."
And then in bold:
"You will be notified when an interview has been set. Do not contact
post regarding your interview date until you have been notified."

Well the interview assignment should be forthcoming end of the month (sometimes they start up end og month first week of next month) December assignment it will be.

You are the first I have seen from your embassy so don't know how busy or how long the wait for you is. All you can do is wait maybe search around and see others from your embassy.

Come on over to the case Complete interview thread and add yourself though while you wait.

Can you please fill out your timeline. This helps us all when they ask "how long until.....?. Also you need to change on your profile from Guinea to Senegal. You need the embassy you are interviewing at. That way we can help answer your question. Thanks

Note: I added you and put your case complete at 10/20 is that about right?
