Thanks for bringing us up to date on your case. I hope the other couple gets a resolution soon!

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

Been to BWI today and am now in on the K-1, at last, very helpful and pleasant bloke, we had a natter about the Govt shutdown. I enquired about the other couples paperwork and he told me it had just been sent back to London after he spoke with them 2 days ago.

Hopefully they will get an expedited interview appt very soon.

This is a pretty cool thread... If only not for the strange, annoying circumstance, gosh! I wish NVC would just stop screwing up!! :(

of those differences between us, for it is not difference which immobilizes us, but silence.
And there are so many silences to be broken.”

It was not NVC, it was US embassy London who cocked it up.

Oh yes, ahh I missed that crucial part. They definitely shouldn't make you fly back to London :(

Hopefully that's your petition back in London, could be if they sent it by courier or something similar.

let us know when you get an interview date, they owe you a big favour so they ought to get you in asap.

Good luck mate

Nice CBP lady Mrs Hum sent me an email with Fed Ex tracking number. I put on my Davy Crockett hat and set out tracking, It would appear the documents arrived back in London on Friday. I did send an email two weeks ago on the contact form but have heard nothing back from the US embassy. I can only hope this week they contact me with a rushed interview date and maybe even an apology (I will settle for the interview date). I am sending another contact form to them today. if I hear nothing this week my finace is going to write to a congressman on Thursday as its her day off and I am going to look into so legal representation.

Meanwhile my fiance had a lovely wedding shower at work last week and all her work friends have given us lots of nice gifts and gift cards.

Has Kim spoken to DoS to ask if an interview date has been set? Thats how we got ours, then you know a few days before the actual letter.

re: CEAC 'last updated' date.

Each time a DoS Human does something with the casefile, that last updated date reflects that the casefile was touched, by a human. Sometimes this reflects 'electronic' events, as well. Still, it's a good thing !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Nobbie you are a STAR. My fiance rang the number in the U.S they said I am scheduled for an appointment this Friday 18th October although I have received no notification. I checked with the embassy in London and I have definitely got an appointment on FRIDAY not sure of time they think 9;00 ish I said I will be there for 8:00.

IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU SUGGESTING KIM PHONED I WOULD HAVE MISSED MY INTERVIEW we are both so grateful to you.

They did say they sent me a letter on the 4th October and emailed me, I have received neither.

When I am there the guy did say to mention everything that has happened and to seek assurances regarding future Adjustment of Status etc. i will do this is in the hope it helps us both out.

I am planing to travel back to U.S first week in November subject to everything going OK.
