Green Card and Work Permit expiration

Good morning all!

I received my GC and my Employment Authorization earlier this year.

My Employment Authorization states that it will expire towards the beginning of next year.

I don't know out of the top of my head when the expiration date of my GC is.

Here are my questions:

1) Do I really need my Employment Authorization and if so, how soon do I have to extend it. What's the timeframe.

2) Do I have to "re-new" my green card every year / extend it, or only by the expiration date, and if so, how soon before it expires.

Thanks guys!

No need for a work authorization card if you got your green card.

How did you get your PR status? You adjusted status correct? From what? What type of green card did you get? 2 year? 10 year?

If it was a 2 year then I believe you need to remove conditions, that must start before your green card expires but no more than 90 days before the expiration date (see the guides).

If it is a 10 year then it needs to be renewed.

good luck
