Anyone denied K1 and gone the CR1 route?

Hi Everyone,

I am now gathering documents for my CR1 packet and process and need input from anyone who have been denied the K1 and had to go the CR1 route. Any advice would be appreciated. Do I use the same information for evidence of bonafide relationship? Joint bank accounts, property, photos, evidence of 6 trips, facebook, email, texts, cell phone records. affidavits from friends and family.

BTW the reason for denial was that they did not believe we had a "real romantic" relationship. Thanks for your responses in advances.

Be sure to write up a relationship timeline to really highlight all those visits.

The 2nd time around after getting married usually is very uneventful. Its just the time waiting.

But just show a true bonafide relationsip don't focus all so much of co_mingling of finances focus more on visits, pics with family building a foundation. That's what they want to see. And when they see after a denial you hung in there solidified your relationship and got married all the better.

I believe you got everything! Its best to include pictures from your different visits, not just a lot from one or two. I will also advise that you include a table of contents page with your documents to list out and explain the different kinds of documentation you are using for easy review, and page dividers will also be helpful. You may have done this already but just an fyi. Dont give up the fight. Good luck!!
