With the goverment shutdown, will visa interviews continue?

I have heard different and opposing views. Does anyone know what will happen to Visa processing for K-1 Visa's

The processes will be slowed down. USCIS workers will still be working as well as Consular officers, however, the means to do background checks and those sorts of things will be slowed. The USCIS and the other divisions that are funded by fees and other means than just the government will continue as best they can, but, again, things will be slowed. That is my understanding.

my boo had his interview today so their working reg their funded by a different part of the gov

The Embassy in Vietnam has talked about this matter. They will continue opened and worked normal until the government tells them to shut it down.
