Can the beneficiary of AOS prepare I-864, I-130... for Petitioner?

Through the whole visa process i prepared all the forms and my husband just signed where I told him too. Why would that be a problem? Besides how would they know? Unless you fill the part about someone else filling it for you.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

No need to sign that you are the preparer on the forms. That section is for a lawyer or 3rd party you hired to file the papers for you. Just so long as the USC petitioner knows what the form states and what they are signing, it is fine.

It helps people know where you are in the process and what you are filing for and from so you can get the best answers for your situation.

~ Moved from AOS from Family Based Visas to AOS from Work, Student & Tourist Visas- assuming this is not for adjustment from a family based visa since the I-130 is being used ~

I was the beneficiary and I completed all the forms and got my husband ti sign them where needed. I just made him read the notes about the I864 to ensure he knew what he was signing about! To be honest, because I couldn't work and he was working, I had the time to do them and he didn't. Plus I'm better at this type of paperwork.

If you are from a high fraud country it is a red flag ( makes you seem to be doing the work not the one wanting their partner with them ) most places this is probably ignored

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

It's for someone like a lawyer or if you don't understand English, a translator.

You can argue that the beneficiary is also a third party (technically), but who can tell from an all-typed form?

Can't see it being an issue, I filled out all the forms for my husband (the beneficiary) and myself (the US citizen), and just had him sign wherever needed. However, I see where NigeriaorBust is coming from in that it could be just one person doing all the work in "exchange" for citizenship - but honestly, unless you fill in a bunch of incorrect info on multiple forms, I don't know how they could know.
