Hi Sweetheart! Thanks God for allowing us to meet in CB, only Him knows how happy I am for knowing You! I do not expect that on your second visit you will propose! I was so stunned overflowing with joy,.. in fact, I've screamed at the ocean that I am engaged!! I am sure the mermaid and the sharks and all the ocean creatures understand how I felt and I know they are also happy for me and congratulate me in silence. :-)

I've pressumed you loved me like an Ocean Deep? :-) because you had an amazing idea to proposed at the seaside! I thought it is only like the usual dinner we used to have, never expected that it was the happiest dinner of all the sweetiest dinner you've done. Please know that I've highly appreciated your effort. Thank You Sweetheart.

It is so worth it. Does your fiancee need a parental advice form? Front load the application with evidence and you will be fine. Send me a PM if you want to see a list of what we sent in. Steve&joan, USEM has not changed anything on their website... I would follow the embassy...

I was gathering opinions /answers from Vj I got confused also since I haven't schedule my interview yet...

hope you've read all the comments on my thread.. :)

Good point! Thanks. Got a little excited there! I went back and looked at the whole thread again...Actually the DS form is a bit down the road for Steve and Ema anyway (sorry Steve--I jumped the gun for you!) Hopefully things will be cleared up when it comes time for your interview.

Yeah Bohol was beautiful, I would love to retire there someday. What is a parental advice form? I sent in a lot of evidence of our first 2 meetings. I also plan on being there for the interview so that should take care of the ongoing relationship question. I just got my NOA1 text and email so we are on our way! My questions now are mostly about timing. When to fill out all the DS forms, doing the medical, CFO and interview. Do they let you schedule the interview on a certain date or do they just give you a date?

K-1 Visa

Oct 1st, 2013 – Mailed in I-129F Package to Dallas Lockbox.

Oct 4th, 2013 – Package Delivered.

Oct 9th, 2013 - NOA1 Text and Email

Oct 15th, 2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received in mail. Notice date on hardcopy says October 8th.

Thanks Jen for the compliment. Yes Ema was definitely beautiful that night and I was so nervous. I felt like I was in high school again. smile.png

It would be nice to just have to fill out 1 form instead of 4 but I doubt if they will switch over before our interview but you never know.

I noticed you guys got an RFE for a legable death certificate? I had to send one in too, I hope they can read it and I don't get an RFE.

Hi Steve, yes they wanted a legible copy of death cert, so my fiancé sent the original one hehehe...

I was the one preparing our first packet so I know it was legible they were just being picky heheheh...
