Hello to all,

Just got an update from USCIS, not sure why and what it means. Case is at NCS. Please share your thoughts/experience. Thank you

"On October 1, 2013, your name was updated relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

we got that exact notification that our case update it was (because my wife had to change her last name to mine) and after we left the interview and a day later they told they approve our forms and right know the GC is in producution

don't worry did you go to the interview?

7/30/2013 Got email RFE
08/3/2013 Received RFE (Wife Birth Certificate)
08/5/2013 Sent RFE by express email
08/6/2013 The RFE was package was sign and receive
08/8/2013 RFE receive by USCIS
08/20/013 Testing and Interview text notification
09/4/2013 EAD going to production email
09/9/2013 EAD ready for shipping email
9/10/2013 EAD USPS tracking number
9/12/2013 EAD received
9/26/2013 Interview - Approve _
9/26/2013 Notification about changing name
9/27/2013 Notification about mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT
9/30/2013 Email about card going in to production

Met -January 8th, 2011

Married - February 1st, 2013

5/29/2013 - Mailed AOS Package to Chicago Lockbox

6/03/2013 - Package Received.

6/06/2013 - Check Cashed.

6/07/2013 - Receipt Date on NOAs - Transferred to National Benefits Center.

6/11/2013 - Received Hard copy NOAs.

6/14/2013 - Biometrics Appointment Notice.

7/08/2013 - Biometrics Done and Successful in Baltimore.

7/17/2013 - I-485 status updated to "Testing and Interview".

8/07/2013 - Interview Notice Received.(online/text).

8/08/2013 - Interview Notice Received.(Mail).

8/09/2013 - EAD Approved.

8/17/2013 - EAD Received.

8/22/2013 - SSC Received.

9/12/2013 - AOS Interview - Further Review needed.

10/03/2013 - AOS APPROVED!!!
10/15/2013 - GC Received.

.....till 2015.

30/09/2015 - Mailed ROC Package to Vermont Lockbox

09/11/2015 - Biometrics Taken in Baltimore

19/08/2016 - RFE received

12/10/2016 - RFE response package sent.

04/11/2016 - ROC APPROVED!!!

25/11/2016 - GC Received.

Thank you eljerryxp and olsan3 for your feedbacks, Couple hours after update notice I got another one, saying that they approved our petition and forwarded it to DOS. I am extremely happy and hope we will get our case number in time before the end of October, since beneficiary is aging out and we need to file DS260 while her PD is current. Good luck to all of us!

Thank you pdnov142012:)) I cant be happier:) Its for my sister and she is aging out June 2014, so we r hoping we will get it all done to protect her under CSPA. Weird thing happened though....After getting updates from uscis about approval I get another one today saying that the case is at nebraska again(aparently it was shipped to local office there) Not sure if i shpould be alarmed by this. Please share whoever experienced the same thing. Thank you
