Hey everyone --

a little help with the G-325A form .... there is a field that asks for FILE NUMBER ... ? it begins with an A ... we have no idea what to put there.

also:

there is a field that says "Husband or Wife (if none, so state)" .... do i actually write WIFE here ? and then put her name in the field beside it. or do i write her full name ? i'm assuming i actually put wife.

thanks!

kris,

She does not have a File Number (aka A#). Unless you are a naturalized citizen you do not have one either.

The field regarding Husband or Wife says more than you have quoted here. Read the rest of it.

A number is the alien registration number, if you were born a U.S. citizen you won't have one, and if your wife has never had a U.S. visa she won't have one either - so that would just be "NONE".

And second question, yes you put "Wife", then I believe there is a box that aks for her maiden name, that's where that goes.

Good luck with the rest :)
