Hi all I'm not sure what this implies but I have been trying to get my interview date for the last 2 weeks I know it's soon therefor I need to be patient.

On the 17 of Sep up until yesterday my status read:

READY

Case Creation Date: 13-Sep-2013

Status Updated Date: 17-Sep-2013

I know it was received in DR on 19-Sep-2013

I checked my status this morning and it has changed to:

READY

Case Creation Date: 13-Sep-2013 Status Updated Date: 30-Sep-2013

Why did it change date? I thought maybe my babes interview had been scheduled so I called DOS this morning but I was told there still no date cray5ol.gif

Can anyone clarify what this might mean?

I got my interview date 2 weeks after it was received in DR...

I remember you case

How did you find out? Did you call , send a email, o just check the list?

I got my interview date 2 weeks after it was received in DR...

My case is the same. Interview is October 16th after it was received on September 26th. I've been in contacting with the consulate IV department via e-mail and they've been updating me. Even told me immediately once they had scheduled my interview (which was yesterday, September 30th).

There tends to be a delay in when CEAC updates and when the Consulate has everything ready. CEAC told me on September 23rd that my file was "Ready" and at the consulate but the consulate didn't have it processed yet so they told me they didn't have it on the 23rd, they contacted me a few days later.

To be honest guys there is a backlog and a waiting time for interviews. At the moment London embassy interview dates are currently taking 6-8 weeks. The best thing to do is to call dos and confirm they have any forms you have sent and if they say they do your job is done all you can do is wait it out for the inter view date to be given to you.

Been CEAC ready since August 28th am still waiting on a interview date to be given. Yet I have done medical and filled out all forms including online DS-260 and I have done police cert. I am good to go but no interview date yet.

I tought the DS-260 only applied to those with processing cases , from september onwards . Or was it a specific request from your embassy? My case been NVC ready since June , and packet 3 didnt ask any ds-260. Maybe because its Cape verde Africa?

I think I'm in the right thread...so for the DR how long is the wait for them to recieve my case? And I'm still confused on the whole appt process...can someone with a case in the DR clarify this For me PLZ! :) i been waiting since the 26th for them to recieve my package is that normal? There's some vj'ers that have theirs recieved in 3 days...ugghh stressing!! Were soo close and yet still so far on this journey :(

Normally it takes one day.. You can call the DOS and ask them about your case, they can tell you if the embassy received your case,

You can check your status in CEAC with your NVC number

Then all you have left is wait , for the embassy to contact you.. (i'm in that stage) ,,,

The DS-260 did only apply to those who's cases was after September but because my embassy sent out packet 3 on the 4 th September and I received it on the 6th September I thought It was best to be safe and fill it out than cause any more delays for us. In reality I had already sent my DS forms before I got packet 3 end of August. I felt they were taking their time so downloaded the forms and sent it then called dos to see if it was received. They confirmed it was I believe that then prompted them to send me the packet 3 on the 4th of September.

05/02/2013 I-129f sent via USPS express

05/03/2013 received by Dallas-lock box

05/07/2013 NOA1 hard copy

05/13/2013 Alien number change a email from USCIS

07/29/2013 NOA2 Approval email from USCIS

08/03/2013 NOA2 Hard Copy Recieved

08/16/2013 file sent to NVC

08/19/2013 Called DOS told NVC received file case number given.

08/21/2013 file in transit to London embassy as stated on CEAC website also spoke to DOS to confirm

08/28/2013 file ready according to CEAC website

08/30/2013 packet 3 sent with DS-2001

O9/05/2015 medical appointment

09/06/2013 packet 3 arrived in the mail.

09/10/2013 CEAC update medical result received by embassy

10/04/2013 CEAC update dos says waiting to give interview date

10/11/2013 packet 4 interview letter arrived

10/22/2013 interview at London embassy

10/22/2013 Approved the visa

10/29/2013 visa delivered

1/31/2014 I-485 accepted receipt number and hard copy has been sent. Processed at National Benefits Centre.

1/28/2014 I-131 application for travel documents in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent

1/28/2014 I-765 application for employment authorization in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent.

2/7/2014 (day11) noa1 hard copy arrived in the mail for I-485 I-131 I-765

2/14/2014 (day18) biometric appt letter arrived in the mail. Appt schedualled for 2/26/2014 11.00am.

2/18/2014 (day 22) biometrics successful walkin.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

Why have you not had a interview yet. June is a long time to be waiting.

Hello Maria y Ramon! In my case it took 2 days for my case to make it from NVC to DR... Call DOS and find out if it was received, it should be there already if it left the 26th. Remember the 26th was thursday so you had the weekend delaying the delivery. I don't know if it's standard but mine went from Boston to PR then to DR.

This waiting game is highly stressful

So its DOS i should contact? Cuz man i been obsessively checking CEAC and it still says "in transit" :( and for the appt is it scheduled automaticlly or at what stage do i have to call to schedule one thanks for the info by the way :)
