how mucho time should I wait before contact the embassy (email)?

Sorry for my persistence , they received my case on sept 9th

Iala78 I feel you pain but as I said at least we have hope in know that they haven't updated that interview list in almost a month. Once they decide to stop messing with us (just kidding) they will update and all us sent in in Sept will have our dates (god willing)!!!!!!!! I still hope by Friday the wait will be over.

So its DOS i should contact? Cuz man i been obsessively checking CEAC and it still says "in transit" and for the appt is it scheduled automaticlly or at what stage do i have to call to schedule one thanks for the info by the way

Yes call DOS and ask if it got to the consulate. I doubt you will have a date assigned though because when I first started calling to inquire the reps reacted strangely at the fact that I was calling with such anticipation lol.

CEAC ready since sept 18th... I called DOS yesterday and nothing (no interview, no packet) ..

E-mail your consulate, as a "ready" status means that your application should be at the consulate, especially if it's been ready since the 18th. Call DoS and get the case number, call also NVC if you need to and once you have the case number email the consulate/embassy and give them the case number and ask if they have received it.

hello everyone, i have a question regarding my i129F form, i applied for my wife in May 3, when i checked my case status it was saying 5 months for my case to be approved, tomorrow is gonna be 5 months and nothing change yet my case still under initial review, can please somebody tell me what's going on here and make things clear and what month's cases they are working at now.

my reaffirmed case now 12 days dates change but status didn't change it remain same what is that mean why is this bad happen to me.

I emailed the embassy like 2 weeks ago, and they told me that they received my case.

It depends, you can call the USCIS, and talk with someone... Good luck... Mine took 6 months...

Hello everyone!

My case was sent to the Consulate at Santo Domingo on September 11th and it was in transit until the 17th. The status at CEAC changed to READY. Then it changed again on the 19th and then again on the 20th. I called the Consulate on the 20th and checked if there was an interview date already scheduled but they said, no, not yet, and that they will contact us through e-mail when they have scheduled it. We are still waiting for some kind of information but nothing till this day.

One more thing... if you read in the page from the Santo Domingo embassy you will find that they do NOT send package 3. Instead they send package 4, which consists of the interview letter and the information for the medical exam and vaccines...

I want to call again but they told me that when they would e-mail me... what should I do?

Why have you not had a interview yet since your case has been there since June.

Why have you not had a interview yet. June is a long time to be waiting.

Actually im waiting since July 25 , thats when packet 3 arrived at the embassy since then no word. Tried calling them nobody answers the line.

Im going to trust CEAC , it says im ready for interview and has status updated case to July 25 , so they did get my Packet 3.

Our lawyer also says Praia Embassy is notoriously slow , and theres word that they changed the Consular officer in the past month ...

Can DOS help me i the embassy keeps not picking the phone?

Ask for them to e-mail you packet 3 if you don't already have the packet 3 documents. Once completed, just inform them that you've completed the necessary steps to schedule the interview.
