Does anyone else have a similar timeline with mine and has already go their EAD ?? I hear they r trying to get rid of EADs so could that be the delay? Are they trying to hold off approving my EAD and just make me wait for the interview? My DL will expire in a month and I need something to show my legal status b4 I can renew it. What can I do? :help::whistle:

I could be wrong, but doesn't your 90 days for EAD restart counting the day they recieve your RFE (assuming you have to send one) We sent an RFe recently too, but not a touch on our EAD since 11/13

Again, could be wrong, but that's how I understood it.

Visa Approved 7-20-06

NOA 1 for AOS and EAD 11-07-06

Recieved NOAs in mail 11-10-06

Touched 11-13-06 AOS and EAD

RFE Recieved 11-17-06

RFE mailed 11-21-06

Biometrics 11-27-06

Touched 12-7-06 AOS recieved RFE

Touched 12-9-06 AOS

Touched 12-11-06 AOS

Transfered to CSC 12-12-06

Recieved at CSC 12-14-06

Shoe, it might be the RFE. You could try contacting your congressional office - explain why you need to EAD. They may be able to speed it up for you.

06/01/2009- Received Biometrics Letter

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.

The timeline doesn't restart but certainly the entire process was on hold while waiting for each RFE response.

I can't imagine a congressman can speed up an EAD that was slowed down by RFEs but who knows.

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

Well, it hasn't even been the full 90 days though so I'm doubting they'll (infoline or infopass) do much for you, they make it pretty clear on the info line to not call if you're within normal processing times :P

What kind of RFE did you have? Initial evidence or additional? If initial, your 90 days start over from the date they receive the RFE response.

I filed in September, and I don't have my EAD yet (they never took my biometrcics), but my interview is in less than a month, so I don't worry about it :)

I think they just forgot about fingerprints. They are supposed to take them before the interview. Well, I may still try to do another Infopass, and ask for the appointment. There was a poster here who succeeded in it, so it gives me some hope :)

I don't know about getting rid of EAD's, but if it's true, they're doing one hell of a good job with it. I sure ain't gonna see mine, I think.

Kinda pisses me off though, cause I paid money for this EAD, and we're not rich people at all. We could use that money for sure :(
