Thanks Saylin. I read the initial post, but I think I'm trying to absorb a lot of lingo and that didn't stick to the old brain.

Tomorrow is my planned second call to NVC. Wish me luck! I'm not holding my breath, but will keep hopeful!

Read the first two posts and all the links again and again. Don't worry, it takes everyone a little while to absorb everything.

Saylin, I started the i864 form today and have a few questions. Part 2 asks about principal immigrant- petitioner is petitioning for all 4 children and there is only space to answer one person. Do I just write n/a on part 2? And part 3 is asking about family members 1-5, petitioner children are all minors and have no dependents. Thanks for your help

I believe you need a separate I-864 for each child. You can never leave part 2 blank.

How are you ? what type of document I have to submit to NVC for IV packet. As i am the beneficiary of F2A and at present in INDIA.

and 2nd thing may i submit my all documents at the time of interview.

Anyways, no, you can't bring the packages to the interview, they need to be submitted to NVC. The list of documents needed can be found in posts 1 and 2. Please read them. Again and again, if necessary.

No, but every child has to have at least one sponsor (how ever many it takes to cover them).

Why is it taking NVC so long to review DS261?

I called NVC this morning and I was told they're reviewing the DS26i... 15days to review a two-page document? Anyone had such response lately?

Why is it taking NVC so long to review DS261?

I called NVC this morning and I was told they're reviewing the DS26i... 15days to review a two-page document? Anyone had such response lately?

You have to keep in mind, there are thousands and thousands of people going through NVC. It's going to take them time to get to everyone's paperwork.

My husband paid AOS fee and now we can see it as PAID online, so he wants to pay IV fee now but its unavailable to pay..

Please guys share if you know the reason

The IV isn't dependent on the AOS. They're two completely independent tracks. The IV bill is only invoiced once the DS-261 has been accepted and added to the case file. When did you submit it?

When we go to ceac payment portal we see AOS fee as PAID but when we want to select IV fee to pay its unavailable to select?

It's only invoiced a few days AFTER the form has been accepted and added to the case file. You call to find out the status of the form.
