Thanks again!!!! good.gif

Glad I can help. Both my AOS and civil documents are at NVC. Was told they got a lot in so should hear something in about three weeks. I hope it's early so I can have my husband home for December. ????

Good luck! I was hoping for that, but I think I'm too hopeful. Since your paperwork is all there, you have a good chance of having him home for Christmas! That would be fabulous! I've heard the same...it seems they're slllooooowwww.... but hopefully you're processed super quickly!!! good.gifstar_smile.gif

APPROVED 2/13/2014! dancin5hr.gif Day before heart.gif day. rose.gif

Please update what you guys put on Page 1.

Seems like it's not a known fact yet. Even here on visajourney, since nobody responded to my posts.

New email to send expedite requests to is NVCExpedite@state.gov

(Will post this everywhere I've posted my query, if you guys don't mind. This important info needs to be known to everyone.)

How do I know? Mine has been expedited. Just awaiting interview schedule now. :)

They said they have received our case from USCIS on Oct 14 and to call back in 20 business days for the case number to be assigned.

They have given me different answer each time I called ranging from 'call back in 8 weeks' to 'it takes 20 business days' to 'call back by the end of this week' (which was last week).

I got mine after 10 days. Best bet is to call after a week from when USCIS said they have sent your file to NVC.

It all depends on the workload at your embassy. I'm thinking as long as there's no checklists, you should have a case complete by the end of November. But, most embassies/consulates, it's an average of 2 months from case complete to interview date, so unless yours is way faster, then it's more likely that the interview will be in January.

I couldn't find any, too. I even asked it here cause i couldn't believe my ears when the girl on the NVC helpline told me http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/462586-nvc-gave-me-the-wrong-information/#entry6619208

Re-sent the expedite request to NVCExpedite@state.gov 11 days after we sent it to NVCInquiry@state.gov. 1 day later, I got an acceptance of request email. 2 days later, I got an approval of expedite email.
