rofl.gif Real stories from real people. rofl.gif

You right wingers have been crying wolf and have been caught telling and spreading lies for as long as Obama has been in office. Now you're telling real stories? rofl.gif

And here you're quoting a right wing website with your "facts" without revealing the source.

Are you going to repeat your claim of my "fairy tales" again?

Do you not believe what I'm posting? Do I have to get documentation to prove it to you? The policy for my wife and son is $335 per month now. January 1st it goes to $506.

Maybe you were referring to someone else.

Obama said costs would go down and they didn't. Costs for existing plans are hiking up before the new system even kicks in.

The listed funding sources are spot on correct and are provided by the CBO. Of course you don't believe them. You, like your fellow liberals, blindly fell for a huge new program and have no clue where it was supposed to be funded. No, the geniuses you elected "funded" the costs of these programs by passing taxes and fees for items that the program itself is supposed to pay for. Now you're foaming at the mouth to insist that the overall costs of medical treatment, after these taxes and fees on medical treatment are imposed, will go down. Hell, the plan has BUDGETED and is counting on $55 billion in "tax penalties from the uninsured" as part of their funding.

How a democrat shows sympathy for "poor uninsured Americans": Impose $55 billion in tax penalties on them

I can't wait until you people hit your borrowing limit and get a .l.. when you ask for more.

sure, sure...

You are starting to get that same panic'd whine that you got when all those gun laws you were sure were on the verge of passing went down the swirling hole. This is an old game and one that we have played and won before.

......positive impacts of the 1995-1996 government shutdown included the balanced-budget deal in 1997 and the first four consecutive balanced budgets since the 1920s. In addition, Gingrich stated that the first re-election of a Republican majority since 1928 was due in part to the Republican Party's hard line on the budget. The Republican Party had a net loss of three seats in the House in the 1996 elections but retained a 227-206 seat majority. In the Senate, Republicans gained two seats.

No amount of whining, crying, threatening all of the horrible things that would happen, or posturing stopped the Republican party from halting unchecked spending and borrowing in the 1990's and your whining words are EXACTLY the same as liberal democrats then. That makes you not really special. It IS entertaining though. rofl.gif

i don't get it.

No answer when the real stories from real people come out and no answer when the question of where the money comes from to fund it are asked.

Which one of these funding sources "reduces" medical costs and makes medical costs cheaper for those paying them?

New Annual Fee on health insurance providers = $60 billion (For calculation - Sec 9010 (b) of the PPACA.)[1]

40% New Tax on health insurance policies which cost more than $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for a family, per year = $32 billion

New Annual Fee on manufacturers and importers of branded drugs = $27 billion

2.3% New Tax on manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices = $20 billion

2.5% Increase (7.5% to 10%) in the Adjusted Gross Income floor on medical expenses deduction = $15.2 billion

Limit annual contributions to $2,500 on flexible spending arrangements in cafeteria plans (plans that allow employees to choose between different types of benefits) = $13 billion

It truly takes special, one-of-a-kind brand of idiot logic to make these claims (and fall for them?) LOL:

1. Taxes on health insurance providers will lower the cost of health insurance (seriously?)

2. Taxes and fees on items paid for by the plans themselves will somehow in some imagination not be rolled right back into the bill that the plans are set up to pay (this one is particularly funny actually)

3. Reducing the amount of money that can be put aside by families on a tax-free basis to pay for medical expenses for that family will reduce the cost of medical expenses for that family
