Hello guys,

I am in USA on green card. My fiancée is in India,

It would be great if you can suggest me deciding thing.

My future in laws have filed for my GF under the category of unmarried sons and daughter of us citizen,

Her Priority Date is May 2008.

Seeing the PD of f2a which is sep. 2013, whether I should go India and get married and file for her or should I wait for her interview for F1.

I am so confused about taking one of this option. It would be great if anyone can suggest anything.

F1 is still a couple of years away from being current.

F2A is much closer, so if you went to India, married there, then filed an I-130 under the F2A classification then it would probably be a much shorter wait for her to be able to immigrate to the US.

November's bulletin is due soon, so I would wait and see how much F2A retrogresses in that and make my decision from there. I suspect that if it does regress then it will be only a few weeks, or perhaps a couple of months, at most.

I-130 approval is running anywhere from 6 - 10 months these days, as an average.

Once you marry her, then that F1 becomes void.

Her F1 interview will easily take around 5 to 6 years according to PD currently in that category.

F2A could easily take 2 to 3 years or more from India. Current F2A PD is very out of normal. Will not last that long. I would suggest file for her F2A after you get married OR she can try for a non immigrant visa like H1 or F1 ( probability is less to none coz there is a F1 pending )

Honestly there are not a lot of options for you.

Her h1 is already in the consulate and has been issued with 221g.
